Ontario's Top Provider of SHSM Certifications & Trainings!
We specialize in delivering engaging content that gives high school students important skills in a sector (such as Business, Health & Wellness, Non-Profit) that they've identified interest in. Students who are enrolled in this program have indicated a strong interest in learning about and likely pursuing some post-secondary education or training in a field, and our job is to create inspiring opportunities for students to grow in their learning! |
What is (I.C.E.) Training?
Inspiring sector partners. Real problems. Expertly facilitated by us.
Innovation, Creativity & Entrepreneurship Training is an amazing chance for students to apply their creativity, connect with industry partners, and solve real world problems.
Partners introduce real industry challenges, while students learn an entrepreneurial problem-solving approach and try their hand at proposing real solutions! We like to find partners who have a unique career path within an industry and want to inspire change. Students love doing things for real, and with I.C.E. Training, that’s exactly what they’re getting. "I felt like I was part of the business - Very fun!" - ICE Training Participant, Grade 12 |

FAQs:
How long is the training?
I.C.E Training requires a full 6 hour school day but partner participation is only required at the beginning and at the end!
Do I have to give a presentation?
The Beanstalk Project facilitators are experts in youth engagement and we will facilitate the entire training! The partner's participation in the training is more like an interview or conversation. We will prompt you and ask questions about your career journey and past experiences. Students are also able to ask the partner questions throughout the training.
My job isn't creative and I don't have a unique story!
We can often think that our jobs are not typically "creative" or our work life may seem boring to others, however, this is not the case! High school students are eager to meet real people working in their field of interest! Students want to learn about jobs they haven't heard of and clear up misconceptions about jobs they are considering. With help from our facilitator we can communicate the value of your professional experiences and identify the need for creative problem solving in your industry/sector.
